Drunken Pho: Reviews & Ratings
It’s me and my girlfriends favorite spot for pho. I like spicy and they will accommodate even if it’s not on the menu to make it spicy. Pork spring rolls are massive. It’s fantastic!
Cool vibes and hearty food. Service and atmosphere: Service was friendly and quick. The place is located in the area that has a few different eateries next to each other which gives it food hall like vibe but in a good way. The food is served at the bar area. Food and drinks: The pho soup was good and didn't disappoint. Soft noodles and thin sliced meat. The broth was balanced and had good amount of garnish. A bit of chilli sauce did the trick too. Spring rolls were good but the peanut sauce was too salty. Pricing: Just right.
Thank you Tomas for a wonderful dining experience. The broth was absolutely tasty! This place has wowed me with their shrimp spring rolls! I have never been to a place where they add a crunchy additive to the dish, it complimented the spring roll oh so well!
Had the pho tai and added brisket. Flavorful broth. The rice noodle was a little overcooked for my preference but was still good. Great, friendly, and fast service. The Bravery location is a little loud making conversations a little difficult but over all good experience.
This was my first time trying pho and it was delicious although I will say I have nothing to compare it to. Staff was friendly. I got the chicken pho and added brisket was it was very good. It's located inside a small food hall in downtown so you know parking is a hassle.
My wife and I first date was here and we struck gold. This is definitely the best pho and spring rolls place we both have ever been to in our lives (haven’t ordered anything else yet). We come back regularly and can’t say enough good things about this place. We apparently just missed the owner so I didn’t get a chance to thank him. Thank you. You made the goat pho joint. I have recommended this to everyone. 10/10
Drunken Pho makes the best pho in downtown Houston since Bouray's. One could live on the combination pho with meatballs.
Great Pho and great value, would definitely come back again for more and to try other things on menu.

Located in the bustling Bravery Chef Hall of downtown Houston, Drunken Pho offers a memorable dive into Vietnamese comfort food with a modern twist. The vibrant setting blends a lively food hall atmosphere with the warmth of dedicated service, making each visit inviting despite the surrounding hustle.
Drunken Pho’s true charm lies in its pho—a well-crafted broth that strikes a perfect balance of depth and freshness. The pho chicken and pho tai come alive with soft noodles and thinly sliced meats, each bowl garnished thoughtfully to enhance layers of flavor. I particularly appreciated their ability to customize the spice level, catering to those who crave heat beyond the standard menu offerings.
The shrimp spring rolls are a standout, earning praise for their unique addition of a crunchy element that adds texture and elevates the dish. Paired with a rich peanut sauce—though some may find it slightly salty—these rolls deliver a satisfying bite that complements the lighter pho broth. The pork spring rolls impress with their generous size and hearty filling, ideal for sharing.
Beyond pho, Drunken Pho offers tempting options like the Drunken Bowl, tenderloin pho, and crispy egg rolls, alongside fusion delights such as bibimbap and banh mi pork and egg sandwiches. Each dish reflects care in preparation and authenticity in flavors, while maintaining accessibility for a diverse crowd.
Service here is notably friendly and efficient, enhancing the overall dining experience. While the venue's lively ambiance can be a bit loud at times, it contributes to the dynamic character of this food hall setting. Prices feel fair given the quality and portion sizes, making Drunken Pho a solid choice for pho lovers and curious first-timers alike.
In sum, Drunken Pho stands out as a cozy yet vibrant spot that masterfully delivers the soulful, hearty flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. Whether you’re after a spicy kick, savory broth, or textural contrasts in your rolls, this spot consistently satisfies and invites repeated visits.
